World's Steepest Roller Coaster in Japan, Takabisha (Complete With Video)
77Do you have a plan for the next holiday? Maybe theme park is the best option for the family holiday. We can find amazing games in this place. Roller coaster is an amazing game inside theme park. This time I’ll share something great about roller coaster. If we heard about roller coaster, we may have a bad experience to this game. Even before we try this game, we have a bad imagination. If you love something “surprise” and pump your adrenaline, I thought roller coaster is one of good option. One good recommendation for you is Takabisha roller coaster in Japan. From this hub, I’ll take you a short tour in Japan (country of Cherry Blossoms). The takabisha, in English is “dominant” as the world’s steepest roller coaster, the exactly place is located in Japan's Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park. This is a new rollercoaster in a Japanese resort town beneath Mount Fuji, beautiful scenery in the shadow of Mount Fuji in Yamanas.
With seven features of the main bend and vertical lines along the 141 feet on the angle of 121 degrees. Takabisha rider will slide on the track at speeds of 100 miles per hour. Roller-coaster lovers will also get amazing experience when they lost the weight during the coaster swooped down on the mountains. Takabisha took the idea from Mumbo Jumbo at Flamingoland in the UK which has vertical tracks about 98 feet and it has a 112 degree dip.
Takabisha ride will feel the stomach-flipping sensation in the shadow of Mount Fuji in Yamanash. This sensation will repeatedly again and again along over 1000 metres of track, and a nerve-jangling drop of 43 metres. Don’t worry, the beauty views of Mount Fuji can still be enjoyed in seconds-112. Takashiba Rollercoaster has a system by relying on a combination of gravity and a set of linear motors on the train.
This roller coaster has been listed as the world's steepest roller coaster by the Guinness Book of World Records. How about the cost to make this roller coaster? Takashiba roller coaster need the cost about ¥3 billion or about £23 millions. Don’t ever think that this roller coaster will bring visitors in a super high speed. Because though it has a very high level of steepness, but Takabisha wasn't the fastest roller coaster. Just for information, the fastest roller coaster records still hold by Formula Rossa, which can be found at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. This roller coaster has a speed about 240kmph.
I know, not all of us love to ride roller coaster. I just share useful information about great adventure on the holiday. But I hope Takashiba roller coaster will be a good option during the holiday in Japan. Or we can put this on the travel list. If you afraid with height, I hope this hub will entertaining you. Just prepare your self and ready to pump your adrenalin. Please enjoy the video!

I've been on many roller coasters but I'm not sure if I'm ready for this one. It looks too crazy even for me. Very interesting hub! Rated up and tweeted. :)
OMG! I could NOT do it!
There is no way you could get me on this one.
I need a steering wheel and a gas pedal and a brake - way too much of a control-freak to ride even the simplest roller coasters. I'd love to go to Japan but I'd pass on this experience. Peace
A roller coaster is not for me. I've always been afraid of heights, but many people love it. You always manage to find interesting sites. Thank you Prasetio.
Hi :)
My goodness! I couldn't cope with that!!!
Thanks for the Awesome Ride Pras!;))
Super fun hub! Thanks for the ride:)!
I rode a roller coaster once with a date and swore never again. The girl loved it, and insisted that we sit in the front. The Japanese one looks impressive though.
Now that would be super cool Prasetio! Thank you:)
OMG Prasetio - Can't look - I'm deathly afraid of roller coasters - no way Jose! Great article though and how interesting! Voted up and interesting!
Thanks for voting for me, too - it seems like there is another round to this contest so may be calling on you again - now it is the tug-of-war part between the 2 top hubs. That's kinda weird but oh well! I think you can vote between Friday night (tonight) and Monday noon). If you're so inclined~
Wow, this is a must-share with my son, he loves roller coasters. What fun! Maybe a little intimidating but such work went into creating these! Amazing Prasetio! Good job and thanks for the information.
I enjoy watching roller coasters but never go on them, since I hate heights. Your hub contains very interesting videos, Prasetio! The Takabisha roller coaster looks very, very scary!!
Great article! Flag up and awesome!
Interesting indeed! Although I am not a roller coaster fan - and this one is even more scary looking to me. My kids would love it, but no way for me, lol! Unfortunately, I'm not able to view the videos at this time, not sure if this a personal computer problem or what, hope to be able to view after I check out what's going on. v/r
Now that's what I call a roller coaster, pras. What a steep descent! I would love to try it but preferably before a meal - not after. Thanks for sharing the info and the photos.
I love to ride roller coasters! I will go to Takabisha just to have a ride on this one. Thanks for the video. Wow! Voted up and awesome!
I just added this to my list of things I have no interest in experiencing!
Great hub but I hate roller coasters. My stomach turned over just looking at the pictures. lol
Interesting as your hubs always are, Prasetio, but there is no possible way that you would see me on that roller coaster! I survived one at Epcot in Florida and plan never again to have that experience. Yikes! Voted up and interesting.
Yikes!!!!!!!!!! I have a fear of stepping out of my car.
But this rollercoaster is really something. My grandaughter would love it, and you have presented this guinness book wonder very well. Thanks, my friend, and I voted up and every button but funny. :) vocalcoach
Shiteinghell that looks mint kinda like the saw at Thorpe park but 10x scarier :)
I use to go on roller coasters when I was younger and loved them. I seem to have lost my nerve as I've aged. Looks pretty exciting this roller coaster. Great.
Oh my.. I don't think I could handle that sharp drop off. The older I get the harder it is to ride these things. Very impressive!
That would kill me............
WOW, that looks incredibly scary! It has a straight 90 degree angle at one point in the roller coaster.great hub, looks like you worked hard on it. Thanks for sharing!
Woah that is crazy. I don't think I could handle that coaster. Fun and interesting hub!
I want to go to Japan now :)

Wow you sure got my stomach rolling. I am not a person that enjoys roller coasters but I found your article quite interesting. I think I would rather drive a car at 240 KMPH. than to go that fast on the Formula Rossa.
