From this wonderful lake we can see collection of waterfalls, gallery of lakes, forest and diversity of animal life. There are amazing colors and it always change ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. This could be happened because of depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water, even the angle of sunlight has a big role in creating such of beautiful colors. The sixteen lakes are formed by natural dams of travertine divided by an upper lakes and lower lakes. The upper lakes like: Prošćansko jezero, Ciginovac, Batinovac, Veliko jezero, Malo jezero, Vir, Galovac, Milinovo jezero, Gradinsko jezero, Buk, Kozjak. The lower lakes like: Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, Novakovića brod. Another attraction comes from two waterfalls. They are Veliki slap (Large Waterfall) with height about 78 metres and Galovački buk (Galovac Waterfall) with height about 25 meters. The highest waterfalls are the Large Waterfall which is located at the end of the lower lakes.
There are several activities we can do at this place. Hiking is a common activity with organized programs for park visitors, because about eight km of pathways and wooden walking trails around lakes are accessible to visitors. This is amazing experience located in an altitude of 636m to 503m above sea level. Other possible activities include: skiing, rowing, cycling, train ride and electric boat. They come to this national park to find peace and relaxation just to experience something different than in the city. But walking is suggested for the visitors to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and admiring the series of waterfalls, lakes, nature and wildlife. With various lengths that can be undertaken starting from entrance and it needed about 8 hour sightseeing walk.
Wow……awesome. This lake is good for almost all seasons, isn't just for summer. But the tourist can visit any time of year. Winter is became an amazing moment to see in the snow. There are two entrances in this location. They are entrance 1 and entrance 2, but the entrance 2 closes during winter.
