The Largest Private Yacht, A New Toy of Roman Abramovic
81Do you like football? What it your favorite football club? When you like football and your favorite football club is Chelsea, I think all of you familiar with Roman Abramovic. He is the millionaire or the owner of multi-billion-dollar and of course the big boss of Chelsea (Premier League football club in England). He is from Russia, the owner of "Millhouse Capital" (investment company). Roman Abramovich's wealth increased by 22 per cent to £ 10.8 billion ($18.2 billion).All that wealth gained when the world facing global economic crisis.
With all the wealth he had, he just bought a new toy. Don't ever thought about his toy, this is not usual toys. But very expensive toy, it is a private yacht. It called Eclipse. Which have just issued from Blohm & Voss, the ship dock factory in Hamburg (Germany). The recently news said that Eclipse is biggest private Yacht in the world. With size around 557 feet or 169.7 meters. Previous record for the largest private yacht was Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum. With size around 532 feet or 162 meters.
I heard that this is a secret project. And the making of "eclipse" was closed for public. This yacht was built in the secret dock.
The luxury of Eclipse
- Eclipse has 24 suite room and two swimming pool. One of these pools, with the size around 16 meters, when it dried it can be used as a dance floor. I never found this technology in the other yacht. Master Bedroom used the roof which can be opened automatically. So, he can see million stars at night.
- Roman Abramovich never worried about his privacy will disturbed. Because Eclipse equipped by motion sensors, to monitor paparazzi that would disturb his privacy, maybe when he want to spent the time alone with his girlfriend Daria Zhukova.
- Eclipse contain nine decks and it equipped by two helipads, a mini submarine, four motorboats.
- Never worried about safety, Eclipse has anti-missile defense systems like in the military. All the windows are bullet proof. Even his private room plated with steel
- Do not be surprised with the price of this yacht. It Between $ 400,000 worth up to $ 800,000
Another Private Yacht Collection of Roman Abramovich
Actually Eclipse is not the first yacht for Roman Abramovich. Before he bought the Eclipse, he had three yachts. And all his yacht was huge.

Pelorus has size around 377 feet or 115 meters. He uses this yacht for pleasure with all his friends.
Ecstasea has size around 282 feet or 86 meters. He uses Ecstasea for traveling around the sea.
- And the last one is Sussurro has size around 161 feet or 49 meters. This yacht used for short trip and lent to his friends.

Another his yacht collection is Luna. This yacht has size around 377 feet or 115 meters. Based on the list of the biggest yacht in the world, Luna is the 19th rank of the biggest private yacht all over the world. He uses Luna for exploration in the isolated place.
One that makes me unable to think is he gave the 370 feet yacht (112 meters) to his business friend. But the amazing private yacht of Roman Abramovich is Eclipse. It can be seen from the size and all the luxurious things inside this yacht.

I never heard of this man, but his yachts are beautiful. I know that is a large sum of money, but when first seeing it, I thought it would cost even more than that. There might be a couple of zeros missing from the price tag. I'm guessing it's more like 400-800 million. It also sounds like the type of yacht that the fictional character, Alex Hawk, in Ted Bell's novels would like.
