The Beauty of Heaven Door
73I’ll take you in a special tour. Are you ready for this tour? Just prepare yourself and please continue to read. I am glad to be your tour guide. This time I’ll write about “the beauty of heaven Door”. Many of us are not familiar with this place. Actually this “Heaven Door” is located in Zhanjiajie City, Hunan Province, China. This city save an amazing natural panorama called 'Heaven Door' or can be called 'the Gate of Heaven'. China is a big country with wide area which has beautiful hidden place. I have many ideas to write about China, especially in travel side and this is one of the beauty about China.
Path to the Heaven Door
Let’s back to topic. “Heaven Door” is a giant hole in the top of the Tianmen Mountain. This is one of the most beautiful tourism places in Hunan Province, China. This tourist attraction had opened since 2001 and now opened to foreign tourists from around the world. To get to these locations can use the cable car as far as 7.3 kilometers traveled about a half hour drive. If you had read my hub which title, “The Most Extreme Cable Car in the World”, you may know how high and so scary this cable car. But don’t worry, all your fears will be paid with amazing and beautiful scenery among the forest and rock mountain during the trip. I’ll add more pictures related with Hunan cable car. The latest information said that Hunan cable car is also well know as the World longest cable car above the scary road and 999-step of stairways before reach the top. You can see this from the pictures, how the road below the cable car so scary too.
Hunan Cable Car
Road of 99 bends, Tianmenshan, Zhangjiajie
Heaven door is an oval hole pointing upward, with the height about 131.5 meters, width of 57 meters and the depth reaches 60 meters. The mouth of this door is through the top of the mountain, so it looks like a beautiful giant hole. Heaven door can also be reached by walking up the tens of thousands of steps on the slopes of the rocky mountain. In addition, now it is also completed with a new roadway that directly approaching the peak. But we should be careful while crossing the mountain, because the new road was full of sharp bends beside the steep ravine. In winter, the tourist will pass through the snowy mountain range. The beauty of this place in winter can be seen in the pictures below.
When the winter comes
Especially in winter, the road is forbidden for cars to pass through Heaven Door, because the condition of roads is covered with snow which become very slippery which can cause fatal accidents. The tourists also suggested by using one-way cable car can contain up to 20 people. This cable car will go through a route with a beautiful scenery and fascinating journey along the rope hanging from the rail. They can feel minute by minute of surprising moment along 7.3 kilometers.
Based on the tourism agent, the largest foreign tourists is come from Korea with the total foreign tourists reached 800 thousand people per year. Hunan Provincial Government as the manager of the "Heaven Door" continues to promote the new attraction to the world by direct invite the leaders of travel agents to come and visit this area. Absolutely spectacular is surely the best word to describe “Heaven Door” in Zhanjiajie City, Hunan Province, China. Breath-taking, astonishing, awesomely beautiful! The roads (for cars and pedestrians) look awfully dangerous, but definitely attractive to adventure seekers. By the time I reach the top of that mountain I will probably be ready to walk right on through heaven’s door.

Heaven Door is exceptionally beautiful, pras, thank you for enlarging our sphere of knowledge with your amazing photos and descriptions. Not only this hub but all your 'travel' articles are phenomenal. Like your other fans, I would like to visit this fantastic place but I don't think I would like to drive those roads. Scary! The cable cars don't look too appealing, either. Maybe I could just parachute in.
