Good hub, I like Fuji apples they are nice and sweet and the skin isn't tuff like some of them.
A comprehensive hub about apples. I enjoyed the information about how apple chips are made. There is a lot of nutrition packed into a single fruit.
Prasetio you selected one of my favorite fruits to write about. I've never seen apple chips before. I bet they're really good. Thank you..GREAT hub...
Pras, A very informative hub about apples. I knew it was good for boron supplementation but didn't know the other facts such as being good for cholesterol. I have been making apple cobbler with cinammon, and whipped cream and it's yummy, yum. :)
Thanks for leaving a comment in my hub about suffering being optional. I just saw your comments tonight and want to make sure you know I appreciate your reading my hubs. :) Have a Happy New Year my friend.
Voted up!
Like to try a Batu city apple Pras. And how about that biggest apple! Brother, you turn something simple like an apple into an awesome article with your hub formatting and writing gifts. Pleasure to see n read and learn new facts. Vote up of course. Thank you Pras, have yourself a very funderful New Years!
Very nice and informative article on Apples. I like the videos and your selection of images; Rated up
Hi Prasetio,
There is an old saying..."An apple a day keeps the doctor away." It is no wonder with all of the good things that consuming apples does for us which you have elaborated beautifully in this hub. You are lucky to be living in an area near apple orchards where you can pick them. Enjoyed hearing about Batu City and seeing the apple fountain and more. Excellent hub as always. Votes up!!! Thank you and wishing you a Happy New Year.
Apple are my favorite fruit. We often go to a town called La Crescent, Minnesota to buy apples because there is a market there that sell many varieties. voted up and across except for funny.
What a interesting and informative hub. I live right near an apple orchard, so now I am even more psyched to pick apples. Up and interesting and useful!
Hi, pras, you did it again! fantastic hub about the apple, and I never knew about the City of Apples in Batu, fascinating! rated up! cheers nell
It is so good to read one of your excellent hubs as I haven't been online too much lately and interestingly enough, I just had an apple for a snack. This is a wonderfully thorough article about apples and I enjoyed it very much, plus I learned a few thing. Happy New Year my dear friend.
Prasetio, you are amazing and always produce such interesting hubs, crammed so full of ideas.
Well done Prasetio. You put a lot of work into this hub. It is such a gem. I learned a few things too. I didn't know apples could ward of Alzheimers. Excellent!
A perfect hub, pras, about a perfect fruit - the apple. It is said that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and reading about its many benefits, that is easy to believe. Did you know that the Golden Delicious apple was designated as the official state fruit of the state of West Virginia in the U.S.?
The Golden Delicious may be the golden apple that fellow hubber, Maria Cecilia, inquired about. It may be more expensive since it bruises easily.
Thanks for this comprehensive and well-written article. Voted up.
I always learn so much from your hubs. There is truly nothing better than a caramel apple (green apple dipped in caramel and often rolled in nuts).
I can always count on you, Prasetio to get a great and interesting read!
I'll admit I'm an apple junkie, eat tons of them. Hmm, I wonder. . . the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" does that include an apple that weights over 4 pounds? Lol!
Exquisite and informative!
Voted up and pushed all the right buttons.
I bought the golden apple at a price of P55 per piece convert that to dollars and that is worth $1.27 per piece, Ordinary apple in my country can cost around P13.00 or probably P20.00 per piece for the bigger Fuji apple.I have tasted the Golden apple but can't really tell the difference yet...but one thing I have noticed, even if it got bruised, the inside was not affected...it's the usual crisp feel....but just like what our drbj said, this can be proven more nutritious...
This article is perfect, full of useful and interesting information! I didn't know there are so much healthy and good things in apples. Apple chips, tannins and baron, who knew? I like apples and eat them regularly but this hub is inspiring and you have shown me some new ways of using apples. Thanks for this fantastic hub Prasetio, and Happy New Year!
Tina
Prasetio - Voted up - Useful, Awesome and Interesting Hub about Apples. I love apples too - Fuji, Granny Smith,Golden Crisp,Delicious and Macs. I knew apples were good but I didn't know they were that good! Excellent information. The videos were very lovely - I don't use granulated white sugar anymore - there are alternatives such as honey, brown sugar, artificial sugar, raw sugar or molasses. I have never seen apple chips. Have a wonderful 2012.
Wow, talking about comprehensive. You definitely didn't leave out anything, I am sure. Happy New Year.
Very interesting even though apple is a common fruit. I love apple chips and I make apple pie regularly. I just read that green apple is very good for losing weight. Tihs is a fabulous hub and I would love to visit Batu some time. Rated up and Happy New Year, Prasetio!
Wow, that's a long list of health benefits for taking apple. It's certainly when we say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."
Nice! Batu is now on my "to-visit" list. I love that green-apple structure. So cute. :)
Hi Prasetio
A fantastic hub about apples. They are my favourite fruit.
I cook them with steelcut oatmeal for breakfast.
My favourite dessert is apple crisp.
I have bookmarked this hub. The apple pie looks yummy.
Voted up and away!
Dearest Pras - Happy New Year to you. I love apples...all varieties and prefer the Fujii for its sweet taste and thin skin. This hub is packed full of delicious (another variety of apple) information and exquisite photos. The 4 pound apple is so amazing. And I didn't realize apples help build bones. My Doctor told me recently that I need stronger bones and put me on vitamin D3. I will go snack on a nice sweet apple now and thanks for the reminder and for this marvelous well constructed and informative hub. Voted up and across!
Blessings to you.

It is easy to see why you have so many comments.
An up up and away here.
Take care my friend and enjoy your day.
Eddy.
Prasetio, voted up and all across but funny. Never knew apples cleaned your teeth. Quality article as usual. Pras, your articles are in great detail with all kinds of valuable info. What can I say, your the man. Hope you have a great day and see you soon.
Two of my sisters are highly allergic to apples. Fortunately I am not. They break out in hives, their throats close up and 9 times out of 10, they have to go to the ER even with the slightest amount of apple juice. We used to have to read every single ingredient and detail on everything they ate because the slighest mistake could literally kill them...
Wow great hub.
Hi prasetio, no wonder they use to say 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' they have so many health benefits!
