Do We Need More Than One Credit Card?
As a function of this card, credit card is a debt card. Or we have a credit card just only for a life style. What do you do with your credit card, for business or for consumption. I start this topic before the tittle of this hub. Do we need a credit card? As a businessman, this card is important. Instead of cash. For business on the internet, sometimes we need this card. for buying a hosting and domain, buying product by online, Paypal verification, and many more. Or we use this card for consumption like buying unimportant stuff, trap with great sale, card promotion with %0 interest. So we don't realize using this card. And then the debt facing us. How about loan? we have to consider first.
Back to topic. Do we need more than one credit card? I had seen on my television about this topic on Oprah Winfrey Show. This show tell me about many people or family in United States having one credit card. So with many credit card they have, they can't pay the debt. And their family become bankrupt. Wow...... amazing. I don't imagine that I have more than one credit card. How much money do I pay for the debt plus interest for those card. I think this is a lot of money. We talk about big money.And then Oprah invite the people of United States join the "debt diet" program. The program tell about track your spending and find the extra money. Learn to play the credit card game. Stop spending. Prioritize your debt and raise your credit score and another program. But unfortunately, I don't follow the next step of this TV show, because I life in Indonesia. And the Oprah Winfrey Show is the recycle TV program, not life TV show. But from this show I can get many benefit. About having credit card more than one is not suitable for anyone that have not financial program. So they have many card just only for spending and spending. If an old card is time to pay the debt, they apply another card to pay the old card debt. this is very confusing and we are facing the new debt.
From the case above. we have to be wise using the credit card. If we are rich person is not a problem. even we have hundred or thousand credit card. because we have Billion dollar in the bank. I think having one card or two is reasonable. And we have financial program about pay the debt on time without delay.Not hungry for shopping and using this card. Use the card wisely. for emergency things. Not using for consumption. and the important thing is saving and saving. If we have a plan and work, we get the benefits later. We can teach to our children about saving. This is just side effect.
