77I had posted a hub couples week ago about health drink. I want to share my experience using nutritional drink. My choice is Liquid Chlorophyll. As a teacher,I often teach about chlorophyll to my student. In science subject. Now we talk about chlorophyll first. What is chlorophyll mean. We can found this substance in the green leaves. Chlorophyll needed by plant for photosynthesis process. Chlorophyll is usually regarded as the blood of plants. Chlorophyll formed through the photosynthesis process and it stored in the leaves. Chlorophyll rich of minerals, vitamins, proteins, and micro-nutrient. All these substance important to keep our health, especially in balancing acids and bases in the body.
Nutritionists in the world also approved and introduced the nutritional value of chlorophyll. The
experts not only filter the chlorophyll in the leaves (such as alfalfa
leaves), but also keep the active enzyme and minerals to increase health. Many scientists won Nobel by chlorophyll research. Like, Dr. Alexis Carrel in 1912, Dr. Richard Willstater in 1915 he found the chemical structure of chlorophyll in the form series of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen. Dr. Hans Fischer in 1930, found the chemical structure of hemoglobin is nearly equal with chemical structure of chlorophyll.

Practicing good nutrition for over 20 years, I was aware that alfalfa was the king of plants because of its benefits of chlorophyll...especially if you grow fresh alfalfa sprouts from seeds you get from the Health food store! I came across Liquid Chlorophyll recently while doing research on how to get my body back to a more healthy, alkaline system to lose weight (I have more acid, which has lead to a range of issues, such as overweight, lethargy, bad breath, cloudy mind, women's issues etc etc etc).
I have been on LC now for about 2 weeks and I feel AMAZING! This product has given me loads more energy, I am actually waking up earlier than my alarm, my gums have stopped bleeding, my hair is in better condition, no bad breath, a fresh mouth for most of the day, a clearer mind, brighter eyes. i happen to find a article in a magazine about chlorphyll to help loose weight and belly fat, so i tried it and it worked i lost 4 lbs the first week. also don't feel so bloated all the time.

Great information! my husband just came home with a bottle of chrorophll drink and i had to check up info before allowing him to take it.

What would happen if you consumed to much?
There is no report about consuming LC to much. It safe to consume, believe me. But better drink it little by little. Trust me, we can feel better than before. I wish the best for you.
I was just introduced to LC some weeks ago and I feel so great about it. I tend to agree with the idea that one feels quite energetic after drinking it. I prefer to take it first thing in the morning, 2 spoons in 500ml water. The awareness is spreading in my country Nigeria. I feel good and alive.

Response to cesali - I believe that if you drink too much, you could experience loose bowels. I would recommend that you start with a teaspoon per 8 ounzes, then move to a tablespoon per 8 ounzes. If you have bathroom issues, just cut back on your measurements. You can buy LC by mailorder from Swanson at a good price.

Hey, I was just wondering what happens if you drink too much chlorophyll? I've recently started trying it and I've started feeling a bit dizzy, I know I have low blood pressure anyway so I've always felt dizzy but I'm wondering if the cholorophyll is making it any worse? Apart from that I go jogging most evenings and feel healthier then ever.
I am not suggest all of you to drink too much. I never highly recommend to drink to much. Anything overload is not good, right! Just drink with good portion. Little by little, try to feel the difference in your body. When you felt dizzy maybe the LC has doing reaction in your body. And that's normally for the people who have low blood pressure. HI,I used to drink kind of clorophyll , it says "nopa sábila" and it was wonderfull, I felt lighter but very energized , I used to be constipated and had a lot of IBS , and all these problems disapeared BUT , I dont know what happened and suddeny it stops doing that , and nowadays I don´t feel difference drink it or not. I consume LC everyday. I also love to consume with cold water. But not all of us can stand with cold water. I never found someone detoxed by drinking LC, if you consume properly. I've been using LC for about 2 weeks now and am already seeing extraordonary changes!!! My hair has started going gray since the age of 20 (I am now 44), after only 2 weeks of use my gray hair has started to repigment and is going back to my natural color!!! I tried the nopal sable it does contain clorphyll but it also has aloe...it's sweet and it does give good results but of course it is best to get pure lc I buy mine from natures sunshine have been consuming it for about 2 or 3 years now and feel awesome keep it up people!!!!

How effective is LC on chronic bad breath. I've tried EVERYTHING, and I guess I'm in search of some sort of assurance that this stuff will work for me. I'm starting a new job in about a week, which requires close association with clients & my co-workers. I've used this for years as a way to subside symptoms of acid reflux. After a few months of taking chlorophyll, it went away for a long time. Once it came back (after years of not taking chlorophyll), I simply resumed the pills and it went away again. It's great stuff.

I just bought a bottle of LC, I have hemolytic anemia. DO u think this would help me? Also can it be mixed in juice or is water better? And it says on the bottle to take once a day. Should i take it more than that? Thanks for all this info tho. Great site!

Thank you soo much Prasetio for your detailed answer. I truly appreciate it. Im gonna start taking it twice a day. Unfortunately I was born with this illness. Its a birth defect. I removed my spleen so that it woulkd stop destroying my blood cells but it looks my liver has taken up its job and it doing the same. So I continue to have a low blood count which is 7.5. Im in Jamaica and teh doctors have no cure for this so I have to be self treating and just have a positive mind. I thank you so much for your advice. I truly appreciate it. Hi I have just recently purchased LC for my son who is nine and born with sickle cell anemia. He is very sick with experiencing a lot of pain crisis. In the past he has been taking medication as needed. But now his condition has changed where he is taking alot of medication on a daily basis. We are not really getting anymore support from his hematologist, like we did in the past and which they have reffered us to pain specialist because the hematologist doctors feel the can no longer manage my sons pain. My son is home and has missed a lot of school and we his parents are very depressed, frustrated and hate to see our son in pain. He has went from taking medication as needed and the pain eventually goes away--to taking medication (narcotics)and the pain just seems to fluctuate and not really going away at all. As a resulr of his condition, we are now trying to incorporate natural herbs. We want to help transform his sickiling blood cells to healthier ones and hopefully help him to gain more oxygen in his blood which would eventually stop him from having so much pain. Is this safe for young ones under 3? My daughter is sick with the flu, and I actually got over the flu using LC every day throughout the night as well. I am wondering if this would help her immunity. I had a terrible migraine all day today. I received my LC in the mail about an hour ago. I mixed together a glass of water, lemons,liquid stevia+18 drops of LC. In about a half hour my migraine was gone! Not sure if it was just luck or not. My headaches usually last for days!

I went to an iridologist and one of the supplements he suggested was taking LC 6-8 times a day. I've been having many women's issues lately, so my iron and platelets count is super low. After reading this hub, I'm pretty excited to get started. I usually drink hot water or teas, but he also told me no more herbal teas while on this program.
At work, I only have access to hot water, because we boil the tap water and use that for our teas and drinking water. (I do not use water from the water cooler, because people put the mouths of their water bottles right up the spout, and that just seems pretty gross.)
Can I mix the LC in hot water or will that change the properties?

My father has a stage 4 cancer now in his liver. The doctor already told us that he would not last long and will be prescribing a pain reliever. My father is not welcome in taking pain relievers yet since he can still take it as he says. In the same day my cousin informed us about LC and told me that it is a good anti oxidant. We tried it and my father who is bed ridden was able to sit down after 2 days of taking it. I am just bit worried since he takes it pure(1 spoon) at about 5 times a day. the K Liquid Chlorophyll does not have any dosage information. Hopefully, this would not overdose him.

It does help him. The swelling of his abdominal area has decreased a lot. His skin color is rapidly going back to normal. Hopefully, it stabilizes all the cancer cells on his liver. Thank you for the information you have provided. I have done some researches too; some says it is fine to take it at any volume as long as it has no allergic content. Some, says is like your answer 1 - 3 spoonful or up to 5. Since, my father likes to drink it since it soothes his pain. I may just observe him first; since he would not really take pain killers.
His oncologist yesterday approved on the chlorophyll intake, so I have not much worries anymore.

I just happened on your site by accident, but I would like to share that I have been using liquid chloraphyll for about 4 years and I would never leave home without it. I often tell people it saved my life. I suffered with IBS ( irritable bowel syndrome ) for many years and it helps a great deal. I am happy to say that my bowel movements are green and it is my favourite colour becUse it means it is working.
I know there are many other benefits and I wonder how my health might be now, if I had never discovered it.

I bought it today and tried it. Tasted ok. I feel a little bit hot now, not sure if it's related but looking forward to being cleansed internally!
I tried once this drink and in the night there was severe pain in my right lower abdomen.When diagnosed,it came out to be the pain due to Appendicitis.Now I need to go for operation.I guess the drink should be consumed when one is medically fit or at least free from the appendicitis.
Please give me feedback on this and whether there are any side effects of it or some precautions to be taken.

Hi, SATYAM SINHA. Thanks for coming. There's no report about side effect like this. I think you already have appendicitis before, because this disease can not be detected and usually appear suddenly. because I am not a doctor, I think you should consult in advance if you have a certain disease before it consumes LC. But hopefully this is not the side effect from LC. There are many brands of LC, so I can't guarantee the originality of each product. This drink is good for everyone, but if we doubt with LC we should consult with the doctor. I hope my answer help you. Thanks

Hi from Singapore! Just want to share my experience with you & the rest. I'm a mother of 3 kids (2 girls age 7 & 8yrs old & 1 boy age 14mths old). Both my girls have aczema & sinus while my boy has dry/flaky skin. They inherited sinus from my hubby while eczema from me! We have seen doctors, skin specialists & even applying all kind of medication (steriod cream/lotion) but still it doesn't help much but instead it makes their skin even drier, thinner & more itch! We have tried all kind of moisturizers & soaps that recommended by doctors & friends but still there's no improvement on their skin. My girls always scratch their skin as their skin itch alot! Sometimes they scratch till it bleeds & leave behind an ugly scars! Since they are girls, I am very concerned about their appearance! Honestly, I do feel sick & tired of applying cream/lotion/moisturizer on them but do I have a choice?

Hi, netty. I want to say many thanks for coming to this hub and share your family experience in using LC. I know that there are many LC's brand outside. I hope we can wisely in choosing the.m. I think Nn Liquid Chlorophyll is good choice for you. The most important thing to get the best treatment from LC is we must consume it regularly.
