Rich By Begging, Society phenomenon

Updated on October 25, 2009

We are facing global economic crisis right now. All the people in the world felt the impact of this crisis. Many company had bankrupt. They could not overcome the financial problems and they should close the company. The victims are the employee because million people lost their job and become unemployment. They are suffering now, difficult to get food and many of them become "homeless". Even the United States as the largest and most powerful country in the world were also felt the impact of this financial crisis.

In the middle of the global economic crisis there is an interesting phenomenon. I don't know, this is kind of job or business. Begging is an option in the middle of the global crisis shocks. I'll write about "begging phenomenon", This doesn't happen in all unemployment due to economic crisis. Just only a few cases, because it brings a lot of money by begging and become a profitable business.
I am not agree and support the begging activities. But begging has become a unique phenomenon that occurs in society.

The Richest Beggar in The World

Ken Johnson,52 is the richest beggar in the world. He always start the begging activity by sitting near the Myer shop at Sydney Central Business District. He always doing this routine activity almost 16 hours everyday at George and Market St. With the board beside him he got the money. He get the money between $60 up to $120 everyday. When the lucky day comes he get almost $330. Totally income is around $40,000 every year. This is the biggest annual income from begging activity. This could brake the law that beggar is synonymous with poverty. But we all know that this activity doing by the homeless.

King of Beggar

It looks like a China's movie tittle with "Jet Lie" as an actor. There is a man, he called Mr.To. He live in Surabaya city, Indonesia. He start his career as a beggar and now he is become the king of beggar. He has about 45 employees who is the same profession as a beggar also. He just manage the employee and he get almost $1000 every month. This is a lot of money in my country. My monthly salary in teaching doesn't reach his income. From begging activity he has three house and Honda CR-V car......Wow. Please take a look the picture below.

I have the picture of the beggar who have Mercedes Benz car. He seemed disabled (defect) by sitting on a wheelchair. But actually he is normal person and he's fine. He just seems to pretend to get the money. please see the picture below.

Begging as a society phenomenon. This is become a problem in my country. The government also try to overcome this problem. Jakarta is the capital city of my country has a role to stop the begging activities. Begging is identical with "lazy", because there are many younger beggar. Actually with younger age they should work. What do you think with this case? Do you have an opinion? Please share and give comment.
