All About "Big"

I want to spend my leisure time to search something unique around the world. This hub is the sequel of my last hub, “all about long”. I thought from the biggest attraction with everything comes up from creativity of human being make this world so beautiful. By their creation from creative people make us smile, laugh, even cry to see all the beautiful of unique things. Back to my idea about everything, we never satisfied with everything. Hahaha….this is nature call. If we have many options to choose something, what do you choice between small bread with big bread? Naturally, I thought we choose the bigger one, right. But how if the bread as big as the house, would you eat this alone? I thought you don’t want to eat this alone. You must share with others. But this time I don’t want to use human categories, because I don’t want to hurt others and I want to make this as beautiful as my other hub. So we all can enjoy this hub as nice information as usual. There’s other question, why do these people created all these things? Are they don’t have sense of satisfied? I thought only creative person has a beautiful idea like this. They want something different with others, get many attentions. But I hope they have positive feelings to make others happy with their creation….amen. This is good purpose and we have to learn from these people as a big gift that not all people have this, right. If you love my hub about “long”, I hope you also love this hub which talked about something “big”. Again and again….. I need well research to make this hub. I don’t care with time I’ve spent to make all the report about something “big”. If the world so beautiful, let’s smile together. I thought there are many big things out there, but with all the limitations I can’t wrote these one by one.But, at least you will enjoy with everything comes up from this hub.

I heard that this cruise ship is five times bigger than Titanic…wow. I thought we know how big Titanic. Until now, Oasis Of The Seas as the biggest cruise ship. It was built with a lot of luxurious facilities. Such as: an ice skating, mini golf course, and an outdoor amphitheater with 750 seats capacity. Meanwhile, an indoor theater has 1300 seats. Oasis has a 2700 cabin and can accommodate 6300 passengers and 2,100 crews. $1.5 billion is big and big cost to make such of a cruise ship. The best accommodation on each cabin, include luxury suites with the size about 487 meters, include balconies overlooking the sea. Oasis also has four swimming pools, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and children care. "Central park" is also the place to relax, because from this area we can find boutiques, restaurants, and bars. I heard there are more than 12,000 plants on this ship, include various tropical plants like palm trees and grapes.

Believe it or not, there’s the biggest bike in Jeddah city. As we know Jeddah is the major port city in Saudi Arabia. In the middle of the city (located in the area of Al Mawadi) there’s the biggest old bike. Its size is very large, about five feet tall. This is like common bike in my country. People called this bike “Adams prophet bike”. I thought my uncle, Micky Dee will love this bike. He is the real bikers.

Many people called this “Monster Bike”, It’s look big and it absolutely work. Who is the creator of this bike? There’s a guy from Netherlands who made this bike. Wouter Van Den Bosch is creative person who have the idea to make the biggest bike. He is a Dutch art student and former engineering student. He needed about three months to make his creation. I give thumbs up for this guy. Because from charity things he made something special, without spend a lot of money. This is absolutely amazing. He collect various material like: steel tubes, bicycle parts and tractor tires. These materials were donated by his friend and tractors company. With the weight about 450 kg, I thought this is one of the biggest bike I’ve ever knew.

This is one of the biggest motorcycle. This motorcycle is "Guinness Book of Records” version. I thought we don’t underestimate the reputation of this organization. This is really huge and big. Gregory Dunham as the creator of this motorcycle called this “The Dream Big Bike”. Huge dimension with the width of 3.4 meters, 6.2 meters long, and weighs about 3 tons (2948 kg) WOW...WOW...WOW. Just information, my motorcycle at home has weight only 150 kg.  He could ride his motorcycle up to 104 km per hour as top speed, this motorcycle also use 500-horsepower engine. Gregory need three years to make his masterpiece. And again……he spent $300.000 in building this motorcycle.

Honestly, I can’t say anything about this motorbike. I found many times when I was browsing on internet it said, “monster motorbike from hell”. It also called Australian Monster Motorbike, according to country where this motor bike came from. Who is the creator of this giant motorbike? Ray Baumann is the architect of this motorbike. With weighs 130 tons and height of 3 meters was made by Detroit Diesel Engine mated with 6 speeds Allison Automatic Transmission.

Armenia country has stolen the world attention by make the biggest chocolate bar. As we know that the famous country in produce delicious chocolate are Switzerland and Belgium. But this small country also recorded by Guinness Book of Record, because of amazing reputation in making the biggest chocolate bar. This chocolate created by Grand Candy chocolate factory, in celebrating the tenth anniversary. It has weighs 4400 kilograms, length 5.6 meters and 0.2 meters thick. Just information, before this event the biggest chocolate bar was made in Italy at October 2007 with weights about 4.580 kilograms. But the chocolate bar in Armenia is much bigger than Italy.

As a special moment, birthday party is not really complete without the presence of tart cake as birthday cake. But can you imagine in celebrating the special moment like birthday party with the biggest tart cake. Wow…. This is out of my mind. I heard that the biggest birthday cake in the world has weight of 11,400 kg and height of 7 meters. This event held when Las Vegas celebrates 57 years anniversary. To make giant birthday cake need more than 1,000 volunteers worked for 14 hours, and spent 59 000 kg of cake ingredients, which were donated by Sara Lee. As the famous Italian cuisine, I thought we all know pizza. This session made me hungry, LOL. But I have to continue to write this. I found many type of pizza with various ingredients and topping in my city. Such as: smoked beef, chicken and pastrami, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Do you want to taste the biggest pizza? I heard good information, the biggest pizza have been made in Johannesburg, South Africa. With wide dimension about more than 20 meters. And also use massive ingredients like: 500 kg flour, 800 kg of cheese, and 2900 liters of water and tomato sauce as much as 900 kg. This pizza was made on December 8, 1990.

Do anyone didn’t know burger? I thought many people like to eat hamburger. There are many McDonald outlets around the world. As western food, hamburger has special places for fast food lovers. I easily found many hamburger sellers in my city with lower price. But again….. I will inform to you about the biggest hamburger. The biggest hamburger was created at café in Sydney. With the weight about 90 kilograms and it need 12 hours to make this food. Who has the idea to make the biggest hamburger. The idea comes from Joe and Iman El-Ajouz as the owner of the café. I heard that this hamburger contains 120 eggs, 150 slices of cheese, 1.5 kilograms of beet, 2.5 kilograms of tomatoes and nearly 2 pounds of lettuce and there is a special sauce and sesame seeds. The last record held by a café in Michigan, USA with weight almost 84 kilograms. I thought this is the biggest one.

Although I am not put this in special categories, but I hope we still enjoy with this information. With the weight more than a ton and height up to 2 meter (6ft 6ins), it is like a small elephant. I agree that Chilli (the name of this cow) as the biggest cow in the world. Chilli lives at the Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Chard, Somerset. Chilli is type of the black and white Friesian bullock, it’s known for high milk production, could reach more than 6350 kg / year with the percentage of milk fat content of 3-7%.

I have to grateful lives in beautiful country with a lot of vegetation as a tropical country. Flower is always beautiful. I thought we still remember with this quotes, “Say it with flower”, right. This time I’ll inform about the biggest flower. We can call this, Rafflesia Arnoldi. This species only grows in the southern Sumatran forests, especially Bengkulu, Indonesia. One of the most excellent and easy to find this flower is in the woods along the road-Curup Bengkulu. Until now Rafflesia never succeeded bred outside their natural habitat. Rafflesia flower require primary forest habitat to survive. When blooming, this flower can reach a diameter of about 1 meter and 50 cm high with red color. Rafflesia flower has no roots, stems, and leaves.

I thought most of us love to swim. This is fun activity, made us relax and good for our health. Based of the topic above, I’ll talk about the biggest swimming pool. The pool was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest swimming pool in the world. With the length about 1,013 meters (1 kilometer more) and breadth of reach 8 hectares. This pool contains as many as 66 million gallons (250,000 cubic meters of water). You can put this put in your travel list if you visit Chile. It spent a long time to make this pool about five years. When opened for the first time, it directly attracted many tourists to the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile's southern coast where the swimming pools are located. This pool is using the engine pumps and controlled by the computer as filtration system to keep the sea water remain fresh. The temperature is set up in 26 degrees Celsius, about 9 degrees warmer than the temperature of sea water nearby. Fernando Fischmann as the architect of this pool, he is a biochemist in Chile.

  What's on your mind if we think about something "long"? I believe as human we don’t satisfy with everything. This is naturally happened to us.This is become an idea for me to write about this topic. I want to write something “over size” or unusual things and this is uncommonly or different than other things. This makes all these things so special and unique. I need two days doing research before create this hub. I got this from many source. With the big hope we can see all the unique things, fun, or funny from things which are "long". Or we get an idea or give us motivation to create something unique after read this hub.
